AeroLog is one person's work. I'm a student pilot, and my training was spread across a paper logbook, a spreadsheet, a weather app, and a group text with my CFI. Nothing watched my currency. Nothing told me a medical was about to lapse.
So I built the logbook I wanted: it stores the flights, tracks the currency, flags what's expiring, and gives CFIs a roster and the endorsements they actually sign. No team, no venture funding.
What I hold to
- Your data is yours. CSV in, CSV out, no lock-in.
- Discovery stays free. Five flights, weather, currency, endorsement viewing — no card. The file vault starts on Aviator.
- Basics aren't a paywall. Weather, currency, the printable 61.51 logbook, and offline mode are on every tier.
- Flight schools aren't a V2. Roster, scheduling, endorsement signing, and the finance desk already ship.
Where it's going
Out of beta. Native iOS and Android, deeper CSV import tooling, and Part 141 progress tracking are next. If something is wrong or missing, tell me — I read every email.
