This page summarizes the choices you have about how AeroLog uses your personal information. It applies to everyone, with additional detail for residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the EU / UK / EEA (GDPR), and other jurisdictions with similar laws.
Do we sell or share your personal information?
No. AeroLog does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never have. We have no ad network, no data broker relationship, and no advertising cookies. There is nothing for you to opt out of — because we don't do it in the first place.
What we do use your data for
- Operating the Service (syncing your logbook, rendering your dashboard, sending verification emails).
- Processing your subscription via PayPal.
- Responding to support requests you send us.
- Detecting abuse and keeping the Service running.
Your rights, at a glance
- Right to know / access — ask us what personal data we hold about you. We'll reply within 45 days.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Right to correct — edit any field directly in the app, or ask us to fix something you can't.
- Right to portability — export your logbook as CSV or PDF from the Logbook page at any time.
- Right to limit — we don't use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics about you, so there is nothing to limit.
- Right to non-discrimination — we won't deny service, raise prices, or reduce quality because you exercised a privacy right.
How to make a request
Email team@aerolog.us from the address on your account, or (if you can't access that address) from any address — include enough information for us to verify you. We reply within 7 days to acknowledge and 45 days to complete.
Authorized agents
If you would like a third party to submit a request on your behalf, include their authorization document with the request. We may still contact you directly to verify identity.
Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83)
California residents may request an annual summary of any personal information shared with third parties for those parties' direct marketing. AeroLog does not share personal information for direct marketing, so the response is: none.
